Scott Schorer President & CEO
Mr. Schorer is president and CEO of IST. Prior to joining IST, he was founder and CEO of CentriMed, a medical content and supply chain company. Mr. Schorer sold CentriMed to Global Healthcare Exchange in 2000. Mr. Schorer was a sales representative and trainer for a number of orthopaedic and neurosurgery companies. Mr. Schorer served as an Airborne Ranger in the 82nd Airborne Division. He trained at the National Training Center for the 1996 US Olympic rowing team, and was a member of the 1995 US Rowing World Championship team. Mr. Schorer earned a BA from Dartmouth College, New Hampshire and BE from Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering.
Rob Brown Vice President of Product Marketing
Mr. Brown brings over 20 years of experience in marketing and product development in medical devices and consumer products. Prior to joining IST, Rob held management and leadership roles in marketing and engineering at Ethicon, Johnson & Johnson Orthopaedics and DePuy, where he drove advanced manufacturing processes, concept development and marketing initiatives, as well as led several new business teams. Mr. Brown also served as Director of Product Marketing and headed up the Wave business at Bose Corporation, bringing to market some of company's most successful products, Wave Radio/CD and Wave Music Systems. He earned a BS in mechanical engineering from The College Of New Jersey School of Engineering. Mr. Brown holds several patents in the medical device field.
William Joseph Vice President of Operations
Mr. Joseph brings 21 years of manufacturing and operations experience to IST. Previously, Mr. Joseph was the director of operations for NuVasive, Inc., a medical device company developing and marketing products for spinal surgery where he was responsible for strategic direction, supply chain and vendor management. Mr. Joseph has held leadership positions in the aerospace industry at Lockheed Martin Astronautics and General Dynamics Space Division. Mr. Joseph earned a BA in business administration from National University.
Mike McIntyre Vice President of Sales
Mr. McIntyre brings over 20 years of experience in sales expertise in medical devices. Prior to joining IST, Mike was the Northeast Regional Director of Sales at Advanced Bionics, a division of Boston Scientific Inc., where he grew the business to become a market leader in neuromodulation. Mr. McIntyre has also held various leadership positions at Medtronic, Inc. for 13 years and Johnson & Johnson, Inc. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Drexel University and an MBA from Michigan State University.
